Kia ora, and Welcome!
We are a community who meet every Sunday morning on the North Shore of Auckland—we warmly invite you to join us in a quiet space for reflection, peace, and spiritual seeking.
Just turn up at the address below at 10am. If you prefer, you’re welcome to contact one of us beforehand—either way, you’ll receive a warm welcome.
There are no ministers, no creeds, no formal service, no sermon, no choir or band. Rather, we gather in silence to listen inwardly to the still voice within each of us. It’s a time for silent meditation and reflection.
The shared silence lasts about an hour, after which we are free to share a thought or inspiration—though there’s no obligation to do so. Afterwards, we enjoy tea, coffee, nibbles, and friendly conversation.
Whether you are exploring spirituality, seeking calm in a busy world, or simply curious, you are most welcome—just as you are.

This central Quaker belief expresses our conviction that each person carries an “Inner Light” — a divine spark capable of guiding us towards truth, love, and goodness.
Why Silence Matters
In our busy, noisy world, silence can feel rare. A Quaker meeting offers a space to pause, to listen deeply, and to reconnect — with ourselves, with others, and with something greater. In the quiet, we listen for the “inner light” that guides each of us. The silence isn’t empty — it’s full of possibility.
Living Our Values
Quakers aim to live out our values in everyday life. Our core values — spirituality, peace, simplicity, integrity, equality, sustainability, and community — guide our choices, bothe large and small. For each of us, this looks a little different. Some work for peace, some care for the earth, some simply seek to live honestly and gently in their daily lives.
A Small, Welcoming Community
We are a small group of Friends on Auckland’s North Shore, just over the Harbour bridge. Some of us are young, some older. some are long-time Quakers, some are newer, and each of us is on our own journey. There’s no pressure to believe a certain way or to “join” in any formal sense. You are welcome to visit, to sit in silence with us, or simply to get in touch and ask a question.
“What is it that holds us together?
It is the experience of the inner light in each of us, and the shared silence where we listen for it.”
